Buffalo Drumstix

Add a kick to Chickentopia® oven roasted Drumstix™ by tossing them with a zesty reduced sodium buffalo sauce and serving with refreshing celery ranch dip. With just 190mg of sodium per serving, Drumstix™ are the perfect vehicle for a variety of savory sauces, and this one is a crowd pleaser!

Buffalo Drumstix™ with Celery Ranch

Serves approximately 40 people.


40 Chickentopia® fully cooked, oven roasted Drumstix™
3 cups buffalo sauce (such as Frank’s)
3 cups water
3 tbsp. cayenne pepper
3 tbsp. cornstarch
¼ cup white vinegar
8 cups ranch dressing
6 celery stalks, peeled and minced
2 tbsp. celery seeds
¼ cup parsley, chopped

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine ranch, celery, celery seeds and parsley. Mix well and transfer to an airtight container. Refrigerate overnight.

2. In a large pot, combine buffalo sauce, water and cayenne pepper. Bring to a simmer. In another small bowl, combine cornstarch with 3 tbsp. of water and mix into a paste. Slowly whisk into simmering sauce. Add vinegar and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain through a fine mesh strainer and set aside.

3. Preheat oven to 400˚F. If oven has a convection feature, turn it on. Arrange frozen Drumstix™ on lined baking trays, leaving 1 inch of space between them. Cook until golden brown and crispy with an internal temperature of 165˚F, about 20-30 minutes depending on the oven.

4. Toss cooked Drumstix™ with buffalo sauce in a large bowl and serve with 1 ounce of celery ranch per serving. Serve immediately.
